Deep Plate CAMPO
Our deep plates from the Campo collection are real all-rounders and look good with more than just spaghetti carbonara. A fresh salad with garden tomatoes and feta cheese looks just as good on the plates as a delicious pumpkin cream soup. The organic, timeless design combined with the handcrafted production makes the plates particularly robust and an eye-catcher on the table. The muted colours of the glazes make the plates very versatile.
The plates are produced fairly and sustainably in a family-run factory in Barcelos, Portugal. Made from locally sourced and recycled clay and finished by hand, each plate is unique. Fired at 1280°, the plates are dishwasher safe and oven safe up to 200°.
This is where our tableware is produced
Our Campo tableware collection is manufactured in a workshop in Barcelos, in the north of Portugal. The company employs around 40 people and is now in its second generation of family ownership.
We particularly like the family atmosphere, with us as customers, but also the way each employee is treated. Because of the proximity - Botica Amano is also based in Barcelos - we are often on site and our partner has been with us since the very beginning. The relationship is one of openness, respect and partnership, and we are delighted to have such a great partner on our side.
Frequently asked questions
Our tableware is produced fairly and sustainably exclusively in Barcelos, in the north of Portugal, in a small family-run factory. Barcelos is also the headquarters of Botica Amano. This means that distances are short. Communication and relationships with our suppliers are open and characterized by partnership.
Our tableware are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe up to 200° and are therefore very robust and designed for a long life.
To ensure the longevity of your tableware, we recommend gentle washing with standard dishwasher tablets. Please avoid aggressive cleaners with citrus additives.
Also avoid sudden changes in temperature - such as from the refrigerator to the oven - to prevent cracking. Matte glazes can show slight abrasion marks from cutlery over time. These superficial marks can usually be easily removed with baking soda and a sponge.
Depending on the hardness of the cutlery, matte glazes can cause cutlery abrasion. However, this is usually only superficial and can be easily removed. It is not a case of cracks in the glaze, as the glaze is usually harder than the cutlery itself. The softer the cutlery, the faster cutlery abrasion occurs. This is how you can easily remove it:
Wet the surface of the plate. Spread baking soda or baking powder generously over the surface and leave it to work for at least 15-20 minutes. Then take a standard sponge and massage the baking soda mixture in using circular movements. You can take your time and don't worry, the rough surface of the sponge won't harm the glaze. Then rinse the plate with water and voilà, it's as good as new again.
Our dishes are designed to last, so you can put them in the dishwasher without any problem. Stoneware is a very high-quality and robust material. You can even use our dishes in the oven up to 200°. Just make sure that there are no rapid temperature fluctuations, such as directly from the refrigerator to the oven.
