The vase has a matte, rough surface which, together with the pastel colours, is a trademark of our collection. A highlight for any room, with a bouquet of fresh flowers or as a stylish decorative piece and pure statement.
Our vases are produced fairly and sustainably in a small factory in Barcelos, Portugal. Thrown on the potter's wheel using locally sourced and recycled clay and finished by hand, each vase is unique. Fired at high temperatures, the vases are strong and durable.

Our vases are made by hand on the potter's wheel in a small factory in Barcelos, Portugal. The factory is our first manufacturer of interior products and so we have a very special relationship with the friendly owner. The factory is family-run and currently employs 6 people, including 2 "Rodistas" who model our products by hand on the potter's wheel. We particularly like the company's good organization, openness and creativity. Only 20 minutes away from Botica Amano's headquarters, we are often on site and can clarify all the details of our production in person. The manageable size and flexibility make the factory an ideal partner for us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our tableware is produced fairly exclusively in Barcelos, in the north of Portugal, in a small family-run factory. Barcelos is also the headquarters of Botica Amano. This means that distances are short. We have consciously decided against large factories in the south of the country. The communication and relationship with our suppliers is open and characterized by partnership.
Yes, the vases are waterproof.
You can easily clean the vases with some water and a cloth.
Please avoid chemical cleaning substances, as they may attack the glaze and thus impair the watertightness.
We try to send all shipments as quickly as possible. Your package is usually ready for dispatch within 1-2 days. Within Portugal and Spain, the delivery time is between 1-3 days. In other EU countries, it may take a little longer. We will inform you about all the shipping steps in good time.
