Reuse
Our manufacturers are meticulous about recycling excess clay. This includes defective pieces, which are returned to the production process and reused.
Local raw materials
Portugal is rich in a variety of clays. The materials for our ceramics are mined in the immediate vicinity of the manufacturers. The raw material, a special clay, is a purely natural product.
Durability and quality
Durable and high quality products are the basis for sustainable business. Our tableware manufacturer specialises in small orders from the hotel and catering industry and does not work with wholesalers or retail chains. This means that the focus is on the highest quality and durability of the ceramics.
Regional supply chain
All manufacturers are located in the immediate vicinity of Botica Amano. In fact, all of our ceramic manufacturers are located within a 25km radius of our headquarters. This avoids unnecessary transport and supports the local economy.
100% recyclable packaging
We only use recyclable packaging materials that are biodegradable. We completely avoid plastic and other synthetic materials.
Natural materials
All our products are made from high quality natural materials and are free from harmful chemicals. As we manufacture 100% in Portugal, all our products are subject to strict EU standards.
